Boko Haram Slaughters 4 Villagers near gwoza

Boko Haram have opened the throats of four Nigerian villagers in reprisal for the capture of a senior individual from the jihadist gathering, AFP reports.

Ten shooters on motorbikes raged the northeastern Cameroonian fringe town of Hambagda close Gwoza, once the capital of Boko Haram's self-reported "caliphate", on Thursday before seizing six individuals and killing four others.

"They requested that individuals collect yet everybody began running towards the bramble," said neighborhood occupant Usman Buba.

"They seized six individuals in the perplexity and butchered four while two figured out how to get away."

The assault came a day after officers captured Boko Haram leader Adamu Rugurugu amid a town attack.

Buba said the jihadists who assaulted Hambagda on Thursday evening chosen to opening their casualties' throats as opposed to shooting them to abstain from drawing in the consideration of troops positioned in Gwoza, two kilometers (1.2 miles) away.

"The assault was apparently in retaliation for the capture of a Boko Haram boss who has been threatening the town," Buba said.

Another inhabitant, Dahiru Alkali, affirmed his record, adding that villagers had grumbled to warriors of ceaseless assaults by Rugurugu and his men.
