The Senate Committee on Works on Thursday prescribed an expansion in the draw cost of petroleum from N145 to N150 for the usage of the proposed National Roads Fund (NRF).

3. Ahmad Ogembe.

The report has been dispersed to congresspersons.

Under the wellsprings of income for the National streets support, the council suggested as takes after, "fuel demand of N5 chargeable per liter on any volume of oil and diesel items imported into Nigeria and on privately refined oil based goods".

This suggestion is coming a year after President Muhammadu Buhari raised the direct cost of fuel from N87 to N145 per liter.
